Aviva's Free Life Insurance Good for New Parents
Parents free life insurance from Aviva - New 2016
A personal finance expert has spoken of the importance of consumers taking advantage of the free life insurance offer for new parents recently introduced by Aviva.
Fairinvestment.co.uk has reiterated the statement made by the insurance provider that life cover could help new parents cope better by easing financial concerns.
A study by the insurer showed that new parents face immense pressure as parenthood kicks in, with 2,007 nappy changes, 1,789 feeds, and 280 loads of washing on the to do list.
These and other pressures can often lead to them forgetting to put in place any protection such as life insurance, leaving families without future financial protection.
"Anyone, like me, who is a parent, knows only too well that the first 12 months can be really tough, as well as incredibly rewarding," commented Louise Colley, head of protection at UK Life, Aviva.
"We're going the extra mile with this free cover because we believe it's absolutely essential that new parents consider how they best protect their new family."
The £10,000 free life insurance available to all new parents is designed to lessen their financial concerns although the offer is only meant to cover the child's first year. Moneyhighstreet.com also recently urged parents to take advantage of the offer.
